Carolyn Shadd

Carolyn Annette Shadd of Glen St. Mary, FL, passed away on her 77th birthday at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL, with her family by her side. She was born on September 4, 1948, in Jacksonville, FL, to Leemon and Vonda Shadd.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Leemon Dewayne; sister Pamela Shadd; and her granddaughter, Kaitlyn.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Jonathan Norris; grandchildren, Cody and Payton Norris; and her sister, Elaine Shadd.

Carolyn loved art, reading, and was a devoted Christian. She attended Christian Fellowship Temple in Macclenny. She retired from the Florida Highway Patrol after almost 30 years of service as a duty officer. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Christian Fellowship Temple with the eulogy being given by Brother Mike Norman and Randy Ogburn.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
