Brenda Sue Pittman

Mrs. Brenda Sue Pittman 57, of Lake Butler, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 after an extended illness. She was born on March 5th, 1964 in Gainesville, Fl. She was married on June 11, 1983, to the love of her life Gary and they have been together for 41 years. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She touched the lives of everyone she met. She enjoyed her job as a food service worker for the Union County School System until her retirement. She was a faithful Christian woman who always put God and her family first and she was an active member of Covenant Community Church. She loved spending time with her family and had a fondness for collecting anything to do with foxes. She enjoyed watching her soap operas every day, as well as Blue Bloods, NCIS: Los Angeles, and SWAT.

She is preceded in death by her father Guy Willingham and her grandmother Videll Smith.
She is survived by her husband Gary Pittman of Lake Butler; daughters Kari Baggett (Steven) of Lake Butler and Brittany Pittman of Lake Butler; her mother Mary Willingham of Brooker; sisters Janine Manning of Brooker, Pam Russell (Randy) of Keystone, and Tina Januszewski of Gainesville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A service for Brenda will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at the First Baptist Church of Lake Butler. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00am. Pastor Lem Lane will be officiating. Brenda will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Dekle Cemetery.
