Mr. Billy Wayne Harvey, age 80 of Glen St. Mary, passed away peacefully Saturday morning May 18, 2013, at the Macclenny Nursing and Rehab Center after an extended illness. Mr. Harvey was born in Memphis, Tennessee on April 15, 1933 and lived most of his Tennessee until he moved to Glen St. Mary 30 years ago. Mr. Harvey was an Auto mechanic for many years and was an U.S, Navy Veteran; he was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 34 years: Mary D. Harvey of Glen St. Mary; two daughters: Pamela Justine of Tampa and Teresa Harvey of Mt. View, AK.; one son: Stephen Harvey of Mt. Pleasant, MS; five step-children William Childress of Paragould, AK. and David Childress of Pocahontas, AK., Birdie Childress of Jacksonville, Wayne Colton of Lake Butler and Virginia Harvey of Glen St. Mary; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Memorial services for Mr. Harvey will be conducted on Wednesday May 22, 2013, at 6 P.M. at the Sanderson Christian Revival Center with Bro. Randall Griffis officiating.
