Mrs. Betty Jean Sapp, 78, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 30th, 2013. She was born on October 30, 1934, and resided in Union County, Florida her entire life. She was employed by the Florida Department of Corrections in the accounting department until she retired in 1989. She had one son, John Wayne Sapp, who currently lives in Ocala, Florida. She is survived in life by one son, John Wayne Sapp (Kathi Sapp), two grandchildren John Andrew Sapp (Dayle Giebeig Sapp) and Tara Lynne Sapp. She was also blessed with one great-grandson, Wilbur Calvin Sapp. She was a member of First Baptist Church Raiford and played the piano there since she was 13 years old. Mom, Granny, Betty, Aunt Betty loved her God, family, church, friends and the piano immensely. She was predeceased by her husband John Green Sapp. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 11:00AM, at First Baptist Church Raiford, with interment at Sapp Cemetery, Raiford, Florida . Visitation will be held on Thursday August 1, 2013, from 6-PM at Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler, Florida. Arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler, Florida (386)496-2008.
