Betty Lou Frank

Betty Lou Frank, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on August 4, 2026. Born on June 16, 1939, in Ava, Illinois, Betty’s long and meaningful life was defined by devotion to her family, unwavering kindness, and a spirit of selflessness that touched all who crossed her path.

Throughout her life, Betty embraced her role as a homemaker, spending most of her years creating a welcoming haven for her family and all who visited.

Her days were filled with simple joys—Betty loved playing bingo, crafting delicious meals in her kitchen, sewing, and losing herself in her favorite soap operas. She especially treasured the outdoors and spent many years hunting and fishing, particularly during her younger days in Brackenridge, Texas. Her caring nature extended to animals, always ensuring they were treated with the same compassion she showed her family and friends.

She is survived by her devoted son, Alan Frank, and loving daughter, Donna Tanner. Betty’s legacy endures through her cherished grandchildren—Derick, Melissa, Nathan, William, Cort, Lacey, James, Jeremy, Lori, Billy, Joey—and numerous great-grandchildren. She is fondly remembered by step-children Jeff Frank, Tiny Frank, and Lisa Frank, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Countless friends, who became like family over the years, will also deeply feel her absence.Betty’s greatest pride was her family. As the heart of a large and lively household, she raised ten children—her own and many more whom she lovingly welcomed and cared for as if they were her own. Her unwavering nurturing shaped the lives of many and left an indelible mark on future generations.

Betty’s life was touched by both profound love and the loss of those closest to her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley William Frank; her sons, Mike Qualls and Rcik Qualls; her daughter, Judith Wilkinson; her parents, Leland and Agnes Snider; her brothers, George Morber and Corky Morber; and her sister, Barbara Sue.

Those who knew Betty often spoke of her selflessness and steadfast support. She gave generously of herself, always putting the needs of others before her own, and built a home that served as a gathering place filled with laughter and love.

A viewing will be held at New Zion Cemetery on NW 136th Trail, FL 32054 on August 11, 2026, from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. at the same location. All who wish to pay their respects and celebrate Betty Lou Frank’s life are welcome to attend.

Betty’s memory endures in the hearts of all who loved her. Her legacy of love, selflessness, and care will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
