Betty Diane Curtis

Ms. Betty Diane Curtis, age 73, of Alachua, Florida, passed away on December 29, 2018, at her residence. Betty was born on January 10, 1945, in Camden, New Jersey to the late Thomas Joseph Crawford and the late Betty Elizabeth Hickland Crawford. Ms. Curtis moved to Alachua from South Florida in 1972 and worked as a secretary for the North Florida Highschool Activity Association. In her spare time, she enjoyed training and showing Alpha horses. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as spending time with her dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Mark (Vickie) Curtis. of LaCrosse, FL, and Kelly (Lafonda) Curtis of Lake Butler, FL. Nine grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 2:30pm, at Archer Funeral Home in Lake Butler, FL. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 2:00pm (30 minutes prior). Brother Randall Griffis will officiate the services. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home. 386-496-2008
