Betty Carter

Betty Ann Carter was born March 29, 1936 and passed on August 20, 2025. She was 89. She is survived by three daughters, Terry Smith of Brooker, Robin (Mark) Williams of Brooker, Sherry (Kevin) Woolley of Lake Butler, 6 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren.

Betty made her home in Brooker 53+ years ago with her husband Bob who passed in 2015. Betty was known for her love of animals, that included taking them in to raise on bottles. She took in calves, goats, pigs, squirrels & even an opossum once. U never knew what was next.

Betty was an amazing cook & had an open door policy….u never left her kitchen feeling hungry.

Though this is a sad time for our family, we remember Betty being the spitfire she was.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
