Baby Devon Alexander Smith, Jr.

Baby Devon Alexander Smith, Jr., 64 days old, passed away peacefully at his home on August 17, 2019. He was born on June 14, 2019 to Mr. Devon Alexander Smith, Sr. and Ms. Rachel Lee Williams. Baby Devon was a special little boy who enjoyed playing with his big sister and being rocked in his mother and fathers’ arms. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Lawrence Williams, Sr.

Devon is survived by his parents, Devon Alexander Smith, Sr. and Rachel Lee Williams of Lake Butler, FL; his sister, Alexandria Smith of Lake Butler, FL; maternal grandmother, Barbara Simmons and paternal grandparents, Jerry Jones and Angela Smith all of Lake Butler, FL; aunts, Ashley Simmons (Jonathon Alexander), Melissa Williams (Alex Paytee), Amber Williams, Reah Jones all of Lake Butler, FL, and Destiny Green of Missouri; uncles, Ryan Jones and Brandon Smith both of Lake Butler, FL; numerous extended family also survive.

A funeral service to honor little Devon’s life will be held on Saturday, August 24, at 1:00 pm, at the Archer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 12:00 pm, at the funeral home. Reverend Richard Harrison, Pastor of Union Baptist Church will officiate the service.
