Ashlyn Miller of Lake Butler, FL, was born October 23, 2017, in a hospital room in Newport, AR, to Jason and Naomi Miller. She unexpectedly went home to be with Jesus from a hospital room in Gainesville, FL, on July 14, 2025, at the age of 7 years. Most of her life was spent as a healthy and energetic young lady who loved life and loved to tease her siblings and parents. Ashlyn was a creative girl who enjoyed coloring, painting, sewing and crafts of all kinds. Her shy smile and infectious laugh brightened our lives. In December of 2024, Ashlyn was diagnosed with leukemia and began treatments. Her treatment was complicated with multiple infections, which caused her to spend 6 continuous months in the hospital. While in the hospital, she experienced many uncomfortable, boring, and a few terrifying moments, but through it all she bravely faced what needed to be faced. We treasure the time we were able to spend with her there. The weeks she was able to be home will always be remembered with special fondness.
She leaves behind her parents Jason and Naomi Miller; 6 siblings, Leanna, Russell, Jessica, Kayla, Andrew, and Adrian. Grandparents, Sam and Linda Miller of Strawberry, AR, and Daniel and Linda Miller of Strawberry, AR, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, please spend some quality time with the family members you have, in memory of Ashlyn. We miss you Ashlyn, but we look forward to meeting you again someday!
