Alfred Watkins Sr

Alfred Watkins, Sr. 82 of Lake Butler , Florida passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at North Florida Specialty Rehabilitation Center . He was born on November 24, 1932 in Lyons , Georgia . Mr. Watkins resided in Georgia before moving to Lake Butler when he was 12 and has been a resident ever since. Alfred enjoyed fishing with many family and friends.



He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Josephine Watkins; Daughters: Esther Hope of Lake Butler, Cynthia Taylor of Gainesville, Cassandra Smith of Lake Butler, Alfriele Watkins and Almanique Watkins of Cross City, and Regina Watkins of Greenville, Florida; Sons: Alfred Watkins, Jr. and Raymond Mabrey of Lake Butler, Clayton Watkins of Tallahassee; Brother: Leon Watkins of Lake Butler; Sisters: Hazel Thomas of Lake Butler, Mamie Owens of Willmington, Delaware.



Memorial Services for Mr. Watkins will be on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the Archer Memorial Chapel. Family invites friends for a visitation an hour prior to funeral services. The arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler , 386-496-2008.
