Lucille Arnold

Mrs. Lucille Prescott Arnold 92, of Lake Butler passed away Wednesday morning, December 17, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 28, 1922 in Washington County, Florida to the late Walker Prescott and Mary Russ Prescott. Mrs. Arnold was the secretary for Rivers Hardware and Furniture for 25 years before she retired. She was a member of First Christian Church of Lake Butler. She enjoyed being with her family, being outdoors, gardening, cooking, and helping others that needed help. She is preceeded in death by her loving husband Johnnie Arnold; Sons: GW (Buck) Arnold and Eddie Arnold; Brothers: Willard, Earl, and Robert Prescott; Sister: Erlene Driggers. Grandson: Henry Arnold.She is survived by daughters: Katheryne Griffis (Elery) and Johnnie Belle Box (A.C.) both of Lake Butler; Brother: Kenneth Prescott of Waycross, Georgia; Eight grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Arnold will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:30 PM at First Christian Church with Brother Art Peterson officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will take place following funeral services at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
