Frederick James "Jimmy" Ellison

Frederick J. Ellison, known to all as, "Jimmy" of Lake Butler, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at age 58. He was born October 31, 1959. Jimmy graduated from Union County High School and started his career as a Correctional Officer at Union Correctional Institution. Later in life, he became a minister of Jesus Christ. Jimmy loved to play golf. He especially loved to be joined by family and friends to watch, none other than, the Florida Gators. Above all, Jimmy loved his Savior Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed. Jimmy is preceded in death his grandmother; Pearl Norman. Mother; Elsie Norman. Daughter: Shannon Ellison. He leaves his family to cherish his memory.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Phyllis Ellison. Daughter; Patty Andrews (Josh). Parents: Frank and Connie Garmon., Sisters; Carol Vierling (Rick), Robin Jenkins (Randy), Mickey Dorminey (Jerry), Norma Jean Cornett (Dave), and April Norman (Robert). Grandchildren; Josh Andrews, Jeffery Andrews, Stefani Nash, and Lindsey Nash. Great granddaughter; Tinleigh. Jimmy is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
