Eugene Norman

Eugene "Gene" Norman 79, of Starke passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Shands of UF after an extended illness. He was born in Lawtey, Florida on July 4, 1935 to the late Albert and Maybell Padgett Norman. He was employed with Camp Blanding in the maintenance department for 40 years before retiring. He was a member and Deacon of Heilbronn Spring Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Betty Clemons Norman; Sons: Randall Norman (Nancy) of Starke and Ronnie Norman (Cheri) of Graham; Brothers: Paul (Janet) and Robert (Debbie) Norman both of Lawtey; Sisters: Betty Starling, Jonell Norman both of Lawtey and Carol Coleman of Starke; Grandchildren: Chris Norman, Rita Bay, Billy Lane, Erica Noegel and Wade Norman and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Archer Memorial Chapel with Rev. Danny Boyd officiating. Family invites friends for a visitation from 6 to 8 pm at Archer Funeral Home. Burial will take place following funeral services at Prevatt Cemetery.
